Does Laser Tattoo Removal Hurt?

Laser Tattoo Removal can be uncomfortable because of the energy transferred to break up the ink to allow it to be processed and eliminated by the body.  However, discomfort level varies person to person and also depends on the location of the tattoo on the body, ink density, etc. At Renew Laser we use a chiller before treatment to cool the skin.  This helps to numb the area but also allows the skin to absorb the energy from the laser without discomfort. This also results in less skin irritation after treatment.
